Benjamin Kahn Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Chairman of the board since 2005, Benjamin Kahn now leads the Atlantium team as CEO. Chosen as a "Hero of the Environment" in 2007 by TIME Magazine, Benjie has been involved in improving water quality and security around the globe.
In addition to his environmental activities, he serves as president of Coral World International Ltd, an owner/operator of marine parks worldwide that specializes in creating ecologically friendly tropical life systems in symbiotic environments. It is a world leader in underwater viewing systems, developing singular undersea observatories and boasts the world's longest underwater acrylic tunnels. During the past decade, Benjie initiated and led the innovative development of Maui Ocean Center, the world-renowned Hawaiian aquarium and Palma Aquarium, which opened in Spain in 2007 and set a new standard for aquariums in Europe.
In addition to his substantial management background in aquaculture, Benjie has an extensive portfolio of investments in technology companies in the many fields, including education, computer software, life sciences and touch screen technologies. He leads them from a sustainability perspective, and keeping a focus on the mission from startup through commercial success. |

Shay Shamir (CPA.) Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Shamir has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Atlantium since March 2011, having previously served as Controller since joining the company in January 2007. Shay has extensive experience in NASDAQ-listed companies in the fields of accounting, financing and tax related matters.
Prior to joining Atlantium Shay served in Vuance Group (formerly SuperCom Group), (NASD: VUNC), a provider of innovative Radio Frequency Verification Solutions, including active RFID and electronic access control. Before that he served as a senior auditor in Ernst & Young (Isr.) a leading Israeli auditing firm.
Shay holds a B.A. in Accounting from Tel Aviv University, an additional B.A. in Logistics and Economics from Bar Ilan University and an M.B.A. specialization in Financial Management from Tel Aviv University. Shay has been a licensed CPA since 2004. |

Ytzhak Rozenberg Vice President of Research and Development
One of Atlantium's veterans, Ytzhak was instrumental in moving the technology from concept to the product phase. This included recognizing the importance of providing customers with a disinfection solution that responds to their needs. Ytzhak has vast experience in leading multidisciplinary R&D teams and transforming optics-based technologies into products in the bio-medical, military and industrial consumer goods fields. Prior to joining Atlantium, he was acting VP for Research and Development at Lumenis, responsible for all medical applications and played a major role in founding and establishing the company's first spin-off, OpusDent.
Yitzhak holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology in Israel. |

Phyllis Butler Posy Vice President for Strategic and Regulatory Affairs
Phyllis has been designing, validating and implementing user-friendly systems for several decades. In her current position, she works with strategic clients to update their UV standards and educates the market on Atlantium's technological innovations. She has served on the IUVA Board of Directors since 2006 and on committees of several other professional associations. In Phyllis's previous positions, she obtained Chinese government approval for a new rice seed hybridization technology, produced and directed financial TV programs, designed user-centered systems for testing attack helicopters, business-to-business internet exchanges, supply chain management, and for U.S. Internal Revenue Service communications.
Phyllis holds a B.A. in pre-med from Stern College for Women and an M.Sc. in Journalism from Northwestern University. |
